  1. My job requires me to dress a certain way… but it definitely doesn't cost $900 lol. In every town/city I've lived in, I've never met anyone who wears a suit every day. It's kinda mind blowing to think that I live just a few hours away from a city where that's the norm!

  2. … How. How could I go all this time watching the financial diet without knowing that it is connectet with Hank green, whose youtube channel I also enjoy? xD Guess it is becasue I don't know both channel for very long…

  3. Jobs that 'require' you dress in some way… That sounds so awful. Also makes me remember when Mark Zuckerberg was going to give a talk to Facebook executives… And he did… In his pyjamas…

  4. If I was told I needed to spend $900 on a jacket for a job, or $900 on literally anything for a job, then I just wouldn't be able to have that job. At no point in my life (I'm 30) have I ever had $900 to spend on any article of clothing.

  5. lol yeah there is NO circumstance in which a $900 jacket is morally acceptable outside of big cities like New York. Honestly, the fact that people have postured it so that they need something that luxurious just to look "professional" is gross

  6. I'm glad that I don't need to need to wear fancy stuff. I do like to on occasion, but I mostly wear what is clean and comfortable, oh and funny. I have a large collection of subtly humorous t-shirts, mostly science based humor.
I remember once spurging on a linen shirt and I guess I got my money's worth, because I wore it out. Literally. The fabric wore so thin that it fell apart. I was so sad. I loved that shirt. Near the end it had to become a "bumming around the house" shirt, rather than a dress shirt. It was so comfortable in the summer heat.
