Landau later started an initiative for his comedic career in Detroit, where he joined the Second City Comedy Theater in 2002 at the age of 19. At that time he also attended a film school.

After friendly encouragement from his friends and a series of stage performances, he immediately joined the industry. “Finally, my addictive personality led to something positive!” He narrated Recovery Comedy in 2015, closing in on his standup comedy career.
