Former “16 and Pregnant” Star Nikkole Paulun Announces Pregnancy & Defends Having 3 Baby Daddies
Nikkole Paulun is pregnant again.
The former 16 and Pregnant star, who appeared alongside the original Teen Mom 2 girls when we first met them on MTV in 2010, announced Sunday that she is expecting her third child.
Nikkole told her followers on Instagram that she’s due in July. Nikkole last made headlines in June when she revealed she suffered a miscarriage shortly after marrying Kyle Ledda in July.
“Our rainbow is coming in July 2021,” Nikkole wrote in the caption of a photo showing her and Kyle holding a sonogram photo, with balloons spelling out “baby” in the background.
Nikkole is already mom to 11-year-old Lyle (who was born in her episode of 16 and Pregnant) and daughter Ellie, five. Both have different fathers. (Lyle’s father, Josh Drummonds, has been in prison on and off since Lyle was born, while Ellie’s father is a former fiancé of Nikkole’s.)
Taking to Instagram Stories, Nikkole addressed some of the people who had sent her negative messages following her pregnancy announcement.
“Of course people must be after me because I have three baby daddies,” she wrote. “Should I stay with the guy who got me pregnant when I was 15 and ended up being abusive and addicted to drugs just so I could only have one [baby daddy]? Or should I have stayed with the guy I dated when I was 20 who was abusive and treated me and my first child like crap so I could quit at 2 [baby daddies],” she wrote.
Nikkole stated that she was not good at picking men when she was young.
“I was very broken from a young age and allowed men to treat me like trash,” she wrote. “I feel very blessed to have recognized my worth and to no longer settle for less than I and my babies deserve. My life may not be a fairy tale to you, but it feels like it to me. Even if that means having 3 baby fathers.”
“And let’s not forget, the third is my HUSBAND, the man who dedicated himself to raising my children and someone who works hard every day and who has never even raised his voice against me or verbally abused me.”
Nikkole was one of the more controversial characters to emerge from 16 and Pregnant. Though she wasn’t picked for a “Teen Mom” show, she’s continued to keep her name in the news over the years: from getting a tattoo so she could get a free tan for life to allegedly faking a pregnancy and miscarriage in the Year 2013 .

TEEN Mom star Nikkole Paulun revealed she is “praying for protection” as her baby’s father Josh Drummonds is released from prison.

On Sunday, Nikkole shared a video of herself answering the big question she received from her followers: “Will you be okay when your ex gets out of jail?
She’s keeping warm indoors in a mustard-yellow sweater and looks directly at the camera, with the question posed as a floating caption in the video.
The clip then switches to a scene where she closes her eyes and looks worried and sad while repeatedly responding with a written “No” floating all over her head.
Expanding on the Instagram video, Nikkole opens up a little more on her thoughts on her ex Josh getting out of prison going forward.
“I’m trying not to think about it, but I know it’s going to happen,” she admits.
“People have trouble understanding how hard it is to lead a normal life when someone like that isn’t locked up where they can’t come to you.

“I’m trying to tell myself he’s not going to do anything, but I know that’s not true.
“Living life close by all the time and trying to protect yourself and your family 24/7 is not a good feeling.”
The young mum continued: “I will take all possible steps to keep us all safe, but it’s the small moments that worry me.
“Of course we have security, security and all that at home, but what if I’m queuing at the supermarket?
“Those are the moments that scare me the most. It creates a fear that makes you not want to leave the house.”
She said she would “just pray for protection for me and my family” whenever the time came for his release from prison.

She continued, “It can be frustrating to hear [Lyle] tell me he misses [Drummonds]. But I do my best to handle those feelings with kindness and respect.”
