Alvin Lamar Worthy (born July 27, 1982), known as Westside Gunn, is an American rapper from Buffalo, New York. Westside Gunn is a co-founder of independent hip-hop label Griselda Records. He is the brother of rapper Conway The Machine [1] and cousin of rapper Benny the Butcher, both of whom he often hangs out with. Westside Gunn has released four studio albums in addition to an extensive catalog of mixtapes. Gunn was affiliated with Shady Records from 2017 to 2020, but has since returned to independent status.

Westside Gunn released his first mixtape in 2005, however his career was derailed by run-ins in law. Gunn served in prison from 2006 to 2008 on a firearms case, and again from 2010 to 2011 for a parole violation. Gunn did not release any music in the years 2006-2011. [2]
In 2012, Westside Gunn founded the Griselda Records label with his brothers Conway the Machine and Mach-Hommy. [3] Gunn was inspired to boost his career by shooting his brother Conway the same year, which left him permanently disabled, as well as the 2006 murder of his cousin Machine Gun Black. Gunn’s first project for Griselda was the mixtape Hitler Wears Hermès. While the name attracted controversy for its reference to Adolf Hitler, Gunn explained that the name was a play in The Devil Wears Prada. [4]
Over the next few years, Gunn released a steady stream of mixtapes and EPs, including several sequels to Hitler Wears Hermès, on the Griselda label. Gunn’s official studio album is Flygod, which was released on March 11, 2016.
On March 3, 2017, Griselda Records signed an agreement with Eminem’s Shady Records, making Westside Gunn and Conway the first rappers from Buffalo to sign with a major label. [3] After signing with Shady, Gunn played at Coachella, Firefly and Governors Ball. [5] On October 2, 2020, Westside Gunn released his Shady Records debut, Who Made the Sunshine, his single project with Shady Records.
Shortly after signing with Shady Records, Westside released Flygod Is Good … All the Time, as a collaborative EP with producer Mr. Green. [6] Ambrosia For Heads named 2018’s Supreme Blientele one of the best albums of 2018. [7] He also signed with Roc Nation with the label Benny the Butcher on August 6, 2019, under a management deal. On April 17, 2020, he released his third studio album, Pray for Paris. The album features from artists such as Tyler, the Creator, Wale, Joey Badass and Freddie Gibbs. [9] On July 3, 2020, Westside Gunn released his tenth mixtape Flygod Is an Awesome God II, the sequel to his July 2019 mixtape Flygod Is an Awesome God. The album features guest appearances by frequent collaborators Benny The Butcher, Keisha Plum, Boldy James, and Daringer. [10]

Griselda Records is an American hip hop independent record label based in Buffalo, New York. It was founded by rapper Westside Gunn, his brother Conway the Machine, and Mach-Hommy in 2012. In addition to the founding members, Benny the Butcher and in-house producer Daringer make up the flagship artists of Griselda Records roster.
The Griselda namesake also refers to a loose-knit hip hop collective made up of the label’s core signees. The de facto leader of the collective is the founder of the label Westside Gunn. So far, Griselda has two releases as a collective: the extended play Don’t Get Scared Now in 2016 and debut album WWCD in 2019. The record label got its name from well -known drug lord Griselda Blanco.
Beginning in the label’s years of development, physical copies of the label’s music were distributed to the limited releases of London label Daupe! which usually lasts within minutes. [1] In 2017, Griselda signed a distribution deal with Shady Records for artists Westside Gunn and Conway. [2] In 2019, Westside Gunn and Benny the Butcher signed a management deal with Roc Nation. Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox seem to enjoy drinking each other’s blood occasionally as part of a ritual between the two lovebirds.
In an interview with Glamor magazine published on Tuesday (April 26), Machine Gun Kelly’s fiancée, actress Megan Fox, was asked about the couple’s eyebrow-raising announcement Fox posted on Instagram in January 12. In the caption of the post on IG, Fox gave a detailed description of the moment Machine Gun Kelly proposed to him, ending by saying he and MGK were drinking each other’s blood to seal the deal.
Megan Fox provided some clarity on the situation, telling the interviewer that sometimes, couples consume small amounts of each other’s blood in conjunction with some ritual form of meditation.
“Just a few drops, but yes, we drain each other’s blood from time to time just for rituals,” MGK’s future wife said.
Fox even explained the way in which he and the “Rap Devil” spit were drinking each other’s blood.
“I read tarot cards and I’m into astrology, and I do all the metaphysical practice and meditation,” the Transformers actress continued. “And I do rituals on new moons and full moons, and all these things. And so, when I do it, it’s a passage or it’s used for a reason. And it’s controlled whether where it’s like, ‘Let’s pour a few drops. of blood and everyone will drink of it.’ ”
Confirmation of drinking blood from Megan Fox came just a month after her close husband, Machine Gun Kelly, was slammed by Joyner Lucas in a tirade about MGK’s prominent position in the 2022 Lollapalooza Festival lineup . Joyner Lucas has apologized to Kelly, but the Ohio-bred rapper-turned-rocker has yet to respond.
