Hyattsville Mayor Kevin Ward is dead. He died Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the age of 44. Law enforcement officials said he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He died by suicide.
Before his death, Kevin Ward was the mayor of Hyattsville, a city in Maryland, USA.
“Mayor Ward was a valued and trusted leader and a staunch advocate for all the people of Hyattsville. We are heartbroken at this loss and offer our deepest condolences to the mayor’s family,” the city said in a press release.
